ABC..EASY AS 123!

We kicked off this weekend with an incredible show by Glasgow's very own Twin Atlantic.  We can't recommend this band to you enough, so it's about time you started listening!  Whilst your waiting for their mini-album to download (legally, mind!) why not take a look at the review of show, alongside a fully gallery of pictures.  We've also got a wee interview up with Barry and Craig, so be sure to check that out as well!

BANNER-RAMA-DING-DONG!

Two exciting updates today! As you may well have noticed we've got a brand-spanking new banner to match our 2010 revamp.  Major thanks go to our lovely friend Jen Martin for her hard work and mad graphics skills.  She's also the master mind behind the badges we give out at shows and we're so grateful that she keeps us looking pretty! Thanks Jen!

 This year's Kerrang! Relentless Energy Tour rolled into Glasgow.  With All Time Low, The Blackout, My Passion and Young Guns all on the line up, you already know that it must have been a killer show! YOUNG GUNS FREE WINTER KISS!

Have you grabbed your copy of Winter Kiss, the brand spanking new single from Young Guns yet? No? Why not?! On January 25^th the High Wycombe quintet put this previous unreleased track up for free download as a thank you for the immense support given from their fans over the past year. Currently touring as part of the Kerrang! Relentless Energy Drink Tour, alongside All Time Low, The Blackout and My Passion and with over 4,000 copies of their debut EP 'Mirrors'  sold so far, Young Guns look set to take over in 2010. ENTER SHIKARI NEW VIDEO!

Currently on tour in Europe with Twin Atlantic, Enter Shikari have released their video for new single 'Thumper' (released on February 15th) ahead of their UK tour next month.  'Thumper' will feature on the band's forthcoming album 'Tribalism', which features B-sides, remixes and live tracks - the perfect companion to 2009's 'Common Dreads'.

This City have announced as the support for Hadouken's headline tour of the UK, which kicks off next month. SHYCHILD BRING THE LOVE-IN TO GLASGOW.

The Brooklyn duo of Nate Smith and Pete Carfella, aka Shy Child, are getting ready to reclaim their rightful place on the electro pop throne with their sparkling new gem of an album, "Liquid Love", released on March 15.  To celebrate they're embarking on their first proper UK tour in years! FAR - PONY (ACOUSTIC)

Legendary rock band Far gear up to release their cover of Ginuwine's Pony, exclusively in the UK on Feb 1st 2010.  Already a viral hit, with up to 19,000 downloads PER DAY on P2P networks, the track can be streamed on the band's MySpace (www.myspace.com/far) and is available for preoder at www.brightantenna.com.  Check out this video of a very speical acoustic rendition and keep your eyes peeled for our thoughts on the single itself!

TWIN ATLANTIC TACKLE AMERICA...AND SO MUCH MORE!

VivaLaScene favourites Twin Atlantic are set to take over in 2010.  Currently wrapping up a European tour in support of Enter Shikari, the band will embark on a ten date headline tour of the UK in support of mini-album Vivarium, including a sold out show at Glasgow's ABC.  On top of this the band have also announced their very first tour of North America, alongside Fall Of Troy and Envy On The Coast.  Dates for this killer line-up can be found on the band's MySpace (www.myspace.com/twinatlantic).  Get involved!
